American Express has made it extraordinarily simple for their cardholders to manage all facets of their credit card account using a simple and intuitive online portal. Accessing the online portal provides users with the ability to request additional cards, update contact information, review statement history and pay bills. All of these actions, plus the ability to activate any newly received cards, can be done from your home computer, tablet, or mobile device. You must first navigate to the American Express homepage, linked here, where you should see the login menu on the top left side of your screen. In the login menu, supply your User ID and Password. Once your login credentials have been supplied, click Log In and access to your online account will be granted.
In case you’ve forgotten your user ID or password, click on the Forgot User ID or Password? link located below the login fields. The following page contains empty fields in which you must provide the 15-digit number on the front of your card and your 4-digit Card ID. Click Continue to proceed to the following page where you must navigate through the remaining steps to retrieve your user ID or reset your forgotten password.
If you’ve yet to activate your American Express SimplyCash Business Credit Card, click here to begin the online activation process. You must supply your 4-Digit Security Code and Card Account Number in the spaces found on the registration webpage (pictured below). Click Continue after entering your card information and you will be taken to the next page where you are able to customize a few specific details regarding your credit card before officially activating your card.
Now that your credit card has been activated, you can begin to use your card to make purchases and it is also possible for you to register for an American Express online account. Click on the Secure registration link which can be found at the beginning of this tutorial to begin the account registration process. On the American Express registration page, supply your 15-Digit Card Number and 4-Digit Card ID before clicking Continue. The next two pages will have you deciding upon a user ID and password for your account and you will also be required to provide a few pieces of personal information.
