How to Apply for the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card

Issued by Bank of America, the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card lets you earn cash back rewards on everyday purchases. Cardholders can earn 3% cash back on qualifying AAA and travel purchases, 2% cash back on gas, grocery, and drug store purchases, and 1% cash back on all other purchases.

Requirements

To receive the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card, you must:

Be 18 years of age or older
Have a credit history with no recent bankruptcies
Have a valid Social Security number

How to Apply

Step 1 – Visit the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card welcome screen. Carefully read the introductory information, then click on the blue “Apply Now” button to open the application window.

Step 2 – Enter your AAA member number. Step 3 – If you’re already a Bank of America customer, you can click on the “Save time and prefill your application” link at the top of the personal information section to have your info automatically entered. If you’re not a current Bank of America customer, enter your full legal name and residential address.

If you want your statement sent to an alternate address, check the “Send my statement to a different address” box and provide this information.

Enter your primary phone number, alternate phone number, and email address.

Step 4 – Enter your country of citizenship, country of residence, date of birth, and mother’s maiden name to complete the personal information section.

In the employment and finances section, select the appropriate employment status from the drop down menu and answer any needed supplemental questions. Provide your total annual income, source of income, level of liquid assets, and monthly housing payment. Remember that alimony, child support, or separate maintenance income does not need to be included in your application unless you would depend on these funds to make your monthly credit card payment.

Step 5 – If you wish, you can add an additional cardholder by checking the “Add a cardholder” box in the additional options section. Provide this person’s full name, relationship to you, and either their Social Security number, date of birth, and address.

Review the card’s terms and conditions, saving or printing a copy for your records by clicking on the “View as PDF” link. aaa 05

Step 6 – Check the box at the bottom of the page that indicates you agree to the provisions that are outlined for the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card. Click on the “Review your information” button to double check the accuracy of your application and submit it for final processing by Bank of America. If you are approved, you’ll receive an email notification outlining when you can expect to receive your card in the mail.
