How to Apply for the AgFed Credit Union Classic Visa Credit Card

The AgFed Credit Union Classic Visa Credit Card is similar to its sister card (the AgFed Platinum Visa) but differs slightly in its interest rates and benefits. The Classic Visa has a purchase APR of 14.90% while the Platinum Visa is just below that at 12.90% (APR is subject to change). There is also a rewards program that is offered through the Platinum Visa which provides cardholders the ability to earn up to 1.25% cash back on all purchases. Where these cards are similar is in their fees (annual fee, cash advance fee, balance transfer fee) and each card comes with loan payment protection. All in all, the Platinum Visa is the better option of the two and, creditworthiness permitting, should be considered before the Classic Visa Card. To be deemed eligible to apply, you must be:

At least 18 years of age
A U.S. citizen
In possession of a Social Security Number
In possession of a valid government-issued ID
A member of the Agricultural Federal Credit Union

How to Apply

As stated above, this credit card is only available to AgFed members. If you haven’t registered to become a member as of yet, click here and complete the application form.

Step 1- AgFed members must navigate to this webpage to begin the application process. From there, select either Individual or Joint to indicate whether you are applying for this card with or without a co-applicant. After making your selection, supply your Borrower Social Security #, your Borrower Member #, and click Next to continue.

After completing the previous step, you must now complete the application. You will need to include the address you want the statements sent to and some other pertinent information.
