How to Apply for the Bank of the Sierra Visa Bonus Rewards Card

The Bank of the Sierra Visa Bonus Rewards Card is a program actually comprised of two cards: the Bank of the Sierra Visa Bonus Rewards Card and the Bank of the Sierra Visa Bonus Rewards Card Plus. Each card offers an extensive rewards program. Both cards offer cash back upon initial purchase ($25 and $50, respectively), and offer points for every purchase. Points can be redeemed for cash back or other promotional offers.

Requirements

Before you apply, remember you must be:

At least 18 years of age
Living at a U.S. address
In possession of valid U.S. social security number

How to Apply

Applying for the Bank of the Sierra Visa Bonus Rewards Card is similar to applying for other credit cards and bank accounts. Have your social security number ready and collect other pertinent information about yourself because you will need it during the application.

Step 1: Go to This Webpage.

Once you’re on the page, find the Bonus Rewards Card or the Bonus Rewards Card Plus, and click “Apply Now”. They are the second and third cards listed.

Step 2: On the next page you are redirected to, find your card again. The Bank of the Sierra Visa Bonus Rewards Card and the Rewards Card Plus are underneath “More rewards, not more rules”. Click the blue “Apply Now” link.

Step 3: Now is the time to enter in your information. Begin with:

Your name
Date of birth
Social security number
Email address
Primary phone number

Continue along with your:

Street address
City, state, and ZIP code
Amount of time you have lived at your address
Housing status
Monthly housing payment
Whether or not you have an alternate mailing address

Step 4: Input your employment status, your annual income, and whether or not you have any other income. Indicate what type of account you have with the Bank of the Sierra.

Also indicate if you are applying with a joint applicant and whether or not you want to add an authorized user. Authorized users have access to your account, but, in the end, you are the one responsible for the balance.

Step 5: The final step. Read the Terms and Conditions for the Bank of the Sierra Visa Bonus Rewards Card and click “I accept the Terms and Conditions”. After clicking “Submit”, you will hear from the Bank of the Sierra as to whether or not you are a successful applicant.
