How to Apply for a BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card

Do you always pay your credit card bill on time and make more than the minimum monthly payment? If so, the BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card is for you. This card, issued by Bank of America, lets you earn cash back rewards for responsible credit use.

Requirements

You must meet the following requirements to be approved for a BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid Social Security number.

How to Apply

Step 1 – Go to the BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card welcome page. Read the description of the card’s benefits, then click on the blue “Apply now” button to begin.

Step 2 – If you’re a current Bank of America customer, click on the “Save time and prefill your application” link to have your personal data imported automatically. This will speed up your application and approval process.

Step 3 – If you’re not a current Bank of America customer, enter your full name and residential address. Provide your primary phone number, email address, country of citizenship, country of residence, and date of birth.

Step 4 – Choose the option that best describes your employment status from the drop down menu. Answer any supplemental questions that are required due to your selected status.

Enter your total annual income, source of income, level of liquid assets, and monthly housing payment.

Step 5 – If you wish to request a balance transfer or add an additional cardholder, check the correct box and answer the supplemental questions. To transfer a balance, you’ll need to provide the credit card institution, transfer amount, and account number. To add a cardholder, you’ll need to provide the secondary cardholder’s full name, relationship to you, and either their Social Security number, date of birth, or address.

Review the terms and conditions, saving or printing a copy of the document by clicking on the “View as PDF” link. better balance 05

Step 6 – Check the box that indicates your acceptance of the BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card terms. (If you don’t accept the terms, you can simply choose to abandon your application at this point.)

Click on the blue “Review your information” button. This will take you to a page asking you to verify the accuracy of your application before it is submitted for final processing and credit approval.
