Charter Oak Credit Union’s Visa Platinum and Visa Platinum Variable credit cards are competitively structured to offer members a viable and affordable alternative to the larger corporate credit cards available. If you are the owner of one of these cards and having difficulties logging in to your account or activating your card you will find a helpful tutorial for each process laid out below. Once logged in, you will be able to pay down statements, view past bills, edit personal information, and more.

How to Login

Cardholders will be able to access the login fields from the homepage. Once there, look to the far right of the page for the provided username field. Enter the information requested in order to move on to the next page which will ask for your password.

If you’ve forgotten your username you unfortunately have no online recourse by which to retrieve it, but you can, during regular business hours, call the Charter Oak support line, the numbers for which are displayed below.

Activate

• Secure Activation

Activating your card is easy, you must simply call the number on the back of your card (800-299-9842). If you would like to activate online you must first apply to be a member of Charter Oak Credit Union. Members can activate cards from their member portal. In order to apply you must follow the link above and scroll down, selecting the charteroak.org link.

Once clicked you will be transported to the secure application. Enter the following information in to complete the application:

• Desired account type / services
• Full name
• Address
• Driver’s license
• Other ID
• Mother’s maiden name
• Employer
• Phone number
• Eligibility

Enter the information requested for the account ownership section displayed below.

Finally, enter the information required for the account designations section.

To finish up, simply complete the captcha form and click submit application.
