First State Bank College Rewards Visa Card Login

If you just received your First State Bank College Rewards Visa Card in the mail, you may have a few questions on how to manage your account and start using your card. To answer some of the questions that you may have, we have created this page to serve as a guide on how to log into your account online, how to activate a new card, and how to register your account for online access. Online banking services for this card are hosted by the card-issuing company, Elan Financial Services (EFS). By accessing your account through their login portal, you will be able to pay your bills, view your statements, perform balance transfers, and manage your rewards points from home or on-the-go. How to Login

To get started, you will need to find your way to EFS’s login page. Enter your Personal ID in the Login window and click Continue to get to the next step of the login process.

Enter your Password and click Login. If both of your login credentials were entered correctly, you should be immediately directed to your personal banking homepage.

If you can’t remember what your personal ID is, you will need to retrieve it by following the Forgot your Personal ID? link found on the login page. Next, on the Retrieval Personal ID page, you will be asked to enter the following information into the appropriate spaces:

Credit card account number
Security code
Last 4 digits of Social Security number
Zip code

Click Submit and after following the instructions contained within the pages that ensue, you will retrieve your forgotten ID and regain access to your account.

If you can’t remember your password, you will need to change it to be able to regain access to your account. To do so, access the second login window and click the Forgot your Password? link. You will then be asked to enter the following information (which includes your new password):

Personal ID
Credit card account number
Security code
Last 4 digits of Social Security number
Zip code
New password

Click Submit to verify your account and save your newly designated password for future use.

To activate your First State Bank College Rewards Visa Card, you will need to call the EFS customer service number located immediately above this paragraph and follow the telephonic instructions. Once your credit card is activated, you can register your account for online access through the EFS login portal. To register online, locate and click the Secure Registration link above the activation number and enter the following information on the linked page:

Credit card account number
Security code
Last 4 digits of Social Security number
Zip code

Create a Personal ID and a Password and enter them into the indicated blank spaces. Below that, you have the option to provide your Email Address to have special offers and information about your new credit card sent to your inbox. Click Submit when you are ready to finish the registration process.
