How to Apply for a Spirit Airlines MasterCard Credit Card

If Spirit Airlines is your airline of choice, the Spirit Airlines MasterCard Credit Card can help you earn miles to put towards your next vacation. This credit card is issued by Bank of America.

Requirements

Before applying for a Spirit Airlines MasterCard Credit Card, you’ll want to be certain you meet the program requirements. You must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a credit history with no recent bankruptcies.
Have a valid Social Security number.

How to Apply

Step 1 – Visit the Spirit Airlines MasterCard Credit Card welcome page. This page outlines some of the various benefits of the card. When you’re finished reading, click the blue “Apply now” button to begin.

Step 2 – Enter your FREE SPIRIT member number and your full legal name. If you don’t have a FREE SPIRIT number, one will be assigned to you upon credit approval.

Step 3 – Provide your current residential address, including city, state, and zip code. (If you’re a current Bank of America customer, you can skip this step by clicking on the “Save time and prefill your application” link.)

If you want to send your statement to a different address, check the “Send my statement to a different address” box and provide the correct mailing address.

Enter your full primary and alternate phone numbers, email address, country of citizenship, county of residence, date of birth, and mother’s maiden name.

Step 4 – Choose the option that best describes your employment status and answer any supplemental questions that appear. After you’ve done this, provide your total annual income, primary source of income, estimated liquid assets, housing status, and monthly housing payment.

Step 5 – In the additional options section, you can add an additional cardholder who is authorized to make charges to your account. This requires that person’s full legal name, their relationship to you, and either their Social Security number, date of birth, or address.

In the terms and condition’s section, click on the “View as PDF” link to save or print a copy of the document for your records.

Step 6 – Read the document carefully to make sure you want to go through with your card application. Check the box that acknowledges you’ve read and agree to the card’s terms and conditions. Click on the blue “Review your information” button. This opens a page asking you to verify the accuracy of your application before submitting it for final processing and Spirit Airlines MasterCard Credit Card approval.
