How to Apply for a State Farm Student Visa Credit Card

For those students who are just beginning their post-secondary education or are returning for their final years of their program, it is often difficult to manage all of the tasks required to achieve one’s academic goals while also having time to plan out a healthy financial future. Thankfully, State Farm offers a credit card that is specifically designed for the post-secondary school student that both allows them to establish a solid credit history while simultaneously benefitting from dozens of discounts at student-specific retailers and businesses. The State Farm Student Visa Credit is the perfect card for University and College students, and it can be applied for in less than 10 minutes.

Requirements

Before beginning the application process, the applicant must first ensure that they meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Reside in the USA

How to Apply

Step 1: Navigate to the secure application webpage and click the “Apply Now” link.

Step 2: Input the following information in the required blank fields under the “Primary Applicant” sub-section:

The applicant’s

  • First and last name
  • School residence address
  • Permanent residence address
  • Social Security Number
  • Date of birth
  • Housing status
  • Home phone number
  • Cell phone number
  • Mother’s maiden name
  • Yearly or monthly income
  • Monthly housing payment
  • E-mail address
  • Status as a State Farm client
  • Name of School
  • Class level
  • Planned graduation date

Step 3: Input the following information in the required blank fields under the “Student Employment Information” sub-section:

  • Employer or name of firm
  • Employer’s telephone number
  • Yearly or monthly gross income

Step 4: Input the following information in the required blank fields under the “Co-Applicant Information” sub-section:

The co-applicant’s

  • First and last name
  • Address
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP code
  • Social Security Number
  • Date of birth
  • Employer or name of firm
  • Monthly or yearly income
  • Employer’s telephone number

Step 5: Check the box to confirm that you agree to receive an electronic copy of State Farm’s Privacy Policy, and then finally, click the “Continue” button to finalize the application.

Once the applicant has completed all of the steps, they will have completed the application process for the State Farm Student Visa Credit Card. Rejection or approval of the application will be given instantaneously and in the unlikely event that the applicant does not receive immediate approval or rejection, they should wait 14 days before contacting State Farm directly.
