Step 3: Review the information in the “Important and Useful Information” section and click the box at the bottom of this section that notes that you have read and agree to the information box. Finally, click “Continue” to proceed.

Step 4: Click the correct of the three options that define your status as a TD Canada Trust customer and then click the “Continue” button.

Step 5: Input the following information in the applicable blank fields, keeping in mind that only the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory:

  • Home phone number
  • Country of residence
  • Street address
  • City
  • Province
  • Postal code
  • Employment status
  • Gross annual personal income
  • Residential status
  • The requested credit card limit

Step 6: Click the two click boxes at the bottom of the page to give your consent and acceptance for the terms and services. Essentially what is being asked at this stage of the application is that you are comfortable with only receiving electronic copies of the Consent to Collection and Consent to Online Authentication. All of the information is available on the TD Canada Trust website. Click the orange “Continue” button to continue.

Step 7: All of the hard work for the application has been completed and you will now be brought to several different landing pages that ensure you are aware of any ongoing promotions, that you agree to the terms and services listed in the cardmember agreement, and that all of the information you have entered is correct. Each of these pages can be completed by simply reviewing the information and clicking the orange “Continue” button. Once you are through the final three landing pages, your application for the TD Canada Trust U.S. Dollar Visa credit card will be completed.

Individuals who have completed the application process for their TD Canada Trust U.S. Dollar Visa credit card will be notified immediately whether or not their application has been approved. If approval or rejection is not given immediately, it is best to contact TD Canada Trust directly as there has been an unexpected error in their system.
