Individuals that are looking to gain access to the vast savings that are available with the Shell Platinum Credit Card must first complete an online application process. The application is most often approved or rejected instantaneously but can, in some cases, take as long as 30 days. Only the empty fields marked with an ‘*’ are mandatory.
In order to apply for a Shell Platinum Credit Card you must meet the following requirements:
- Be of 18 years of age or older (21 years of age or older if you reside in Puerto Rico)
- Have a valid Social Security Number and valid Photo ID number

Step 1: Direct yourself to the secure application webpage.
Step 2: Scroll down to the “Your Personal Information” section and input the following information:

- Home phone number
Step 3: Scroll down to the “Your Financial Information” and input the following information:

- Annual salary and wages
- Residence status
- Monthly mortgage or rent payment
Step 4: Scroll down to the “Your Security Information” section and input the following information:
Your
- Date of birth
- Social security number
- Photo ID type
- Driver’s license or photo ID number
- State
Step 5: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the two boxes in the “Important Information” section. By checking both boxes you will be agreeing that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Additional Disclosures, and Privacy Notice, as well as confirming that you have the software and equipment to receive a copy of the Terms and Conditions, Additional Disclosures, and Privacy Notice electronically.
Step 6: Click the red “Continue” button to proceed. On the ensuing webpage, you will be able to verify all of your information before finalizing the application process.
