Low rate
Great low-rate option for cardholders looking to keep interest costs down
I chose the MUC FCU Visa Gold Card because my credit union offered a lower APR compared to many mainstream cards. For someone who occasionally carries a balance (though I try not to), that mattered a lot to me. I’ve found the “Gold” card designation here gives me a little extra buffer and the service from my credit union has been very good.
The only slight caveat: the reward program isn’t as aggressive as high-end cards, so this is more a “smart practical” card than a rewards-maximizer. If you care most about cost of borrowing rather than flashy perks, this card is very strong.
