The Capital One Spark Cash for Business card is best known for its simple, flat-rate cash back: unlimited 2% on everything, plus a solid intro bonus and a $0 annual fee the first year (then $95). No categories, no tracking — just swipe and earn.
Most users say they love the simplicity. Many reviewers mention that it’s easy to use for everyday business spending, rewards add up quickly, and cash back is straightforward to redeem. Cardholders also like the high credit limits, free employee cards, and decent travel perks when booking through Capital One.
On the downside, users often complain about the high APR, especially if you ever carry a balance. Some also feel the $95 annual fee stings after year one, and others note that the card lacks premium perks like airport lounge access or transfer partners.
Personally, I think this card shines for business owners who want effortless cash back and spend consistently. If you pay balances in full and value simplicity over flashy perks, it’s worth applying for. But if you want travel rewards or low interest, better options exist.
I got this card to simplify expenses cash back comes fast, statements are clear, and rewards actually help cover quarterly costs. Makes running my side hustle easier.
As a small business owner I switched to this card last year, best decision. It has a straightforward 2% unlimited cash back, easy quarterly statements, and quick sign up for employees. Solid Return with no fuss.
Their service repa are in the phillipines and a bunch of smart mouthed idiots. This is a business card, you'd think they would have someone with a business background for you to talk to. They laugh and snicker at you. Pitiful! Do not consider this card for your business. They are horrible. Jacked my interest rate up to 30% because of a dollar. One dollar that showed up on their end but not on my statement. Business owners beware! Been with them for 8 years - it ends today.
