The First PREMIER Credit Card is known as a high-fee, credit-rebuilding card aimed at people with poor or limited credit history. It doesn’t offer rewards, perks, or a signup bonus, and instead focuses on giving access to credit when other banks say no.
Most users say the biggest advantage is easy approval, even with low credit scores, and the fact that it reports to all three major credit bureaus, which helps build credit over time if used responsibly. Some reviewers also mention that it can be a stepping stone when starting from scratch.
On the downside, many cardholders complain about the high annual fees, additional account fees, and very high APR, especially if they carry a balance. Others note that the lack of rewards and bonuses makes it feel expensive compared to secured cards or newer beginner-friendly options.
Personally, I think this card only really makes sense as a last-resort credit-building tool. If you can qualify for almost anything else — especially a secured card with no fees and some rewards — you’ll usually be better off elsewhere.
I got this card to rebuild my credit, but the high fees and low limit made everyday use tough. Payments showed up late even when I paid on time. I didn't see much credit improvement. Highly frustrating experience.
I AM GLAD TO HAVE A CARD LIKE THIS ONE IT HAS BEEN A GREAT CHOICE I RATE THIS A FIVE bettie domer
great service
This card is great gave me a chance when no one else would and helped bring my credit up a lot. Definitely a customer for life. and to the person named Shawna walker maybe you should be late on your payments then you wouldn't need to pay a fee. You shouldn't have a credit card if you cant even pay off the minimum payment.
Dont get this card unless you have too! they charge for making a payment for the same day, plus their late fee is $50. I have a balance of $200, and I am going to close my card out after. If you want a great credit card get a Capital One! love their cards
Excellent card. I wouldn't trade it for any other credit card. Also, they gave me a second chance when no one else would. I'm a customer for life. Thank you so much.
very nice
