The Priceline Rewards Credit Card, now known as the Priceline VIP Rewards Visa, is a no-annual-fee travel card designed primarily for Priceline customers. It offers elevated rewards on Priceline bookings, plus bonus points on gas and dining, along with Priceline VIP Gold status.
Most users say the biggest attraction is the strong rewards when booking hotels, flights and other travel through Priceline. Many reviewers mentioned that the automatic VIP status can add useful perks for frequent Priceline customers. The lack of an annual fee is another clear advantage.
On the downside, some users feel the card is too tied to Priceline to be a strong everyday rewards option. Others point to the high regular APR and the fact that rewards are most valuable when used for Priceline-related travel. Customer-service experiences with Barclays can also vary.
Personally, I think this card is worth considering for frequent Priceline users who pay their balance in full. If you rarely book through Priceline or want flexible cash-back rewards, a general travel or cash-back card may offer better long-term value.
I used the card when booking a hotel for a weekend getaway, and the discount helped knock a chunk off the price. But outside of those rare travel bookings, it just sits in my wallet and doesn't earn much.
APR's for cash and purchases is too high and does not seem to improve with longevity. customer service commendable.
I got this card so I could use points to buy travel on Priceline. You can't. Stupid.
Talk about bait and switch. I got this card thinking I could use the points to travel, I mean wouldn't it make sense that a Priceline card would let you use points on Priceline?!?!?!? Stupid.
it sucks
too many hurdles in order to find account. Barclay, Priceline, various Barclay and/or Priceline options. Priceline/Barclay do not make dealing with them on line easy. Do not recommend!
I kept a balance for over a year never had a late payment then paid the card in full and then they decreased my limit by $5000 and my rate was never lower than 28%
