Alumni, students, faculty, and anyone otherwise affiliated with Auburn University may be interested to learn that AU, in partnership with Bank of America (BoA), is offering a credit card with rewards potential and a decent APR. The spin that makes this card in any way particular to AU is that a contribution to Auburn’s scholarship fund will be made when the card is used. The exact amount isn’t specified, but AU claims that this program has earned more than $14 million dollars for scholarships. Amazing! How to Apply

Step 1- In order to access the secure application you must first navigate to the card summary page where AU breaks down the benefits of the card. Once there, select the Apply Now link to begin.

Step 2- You will be asked to indicate where you heard about the card from and whether you would prefer the MasterCard or Visa option. Make your selections and click Submit.

Step 3- Under the About you heading, the following personal details must be specified:

Full name
Phone number
Full address

Step 4- Use the drop-down menu to indicate your Country of primary residence and select Yes if you would like your statements sent to a different address. Below that, give your Housing status and Monthly housing payment.

Step 5- For security purposes, you are asked to specify your Social security number, Date of birth, Mother’s maiden name, Country of citizenship, and indicate your citizenship status.

Step 6- Select your Employment Status from the drop-down menu. Assuming that you are a student, please specify the following details regarding your studies:

School name
Student status
Years in school
Graduation date
Full school address

Step 7- Enter your Total annual Income and specify your Source of income by choosing one of the options from the drop-down menu.

Step 8- Here you are able to perform two tasks that are completely optional. You can consolidate your previous balances into one bill by perform a balance transfer and/or add an additional cardholder to your new account.

Step 9- The bottom of the page contains a review of the terms and conditions document detailing the pricing information about this credit card. Make sure you’ve read through this document carefully before proceeding. When you’re ready, click Continue to proceed.
