If you are currently a young student, you may want to start thinking about building a good credit score. It can be hard to be accepted for a credit card when you don’t have a credit history, but the Bank of Albuquerque College Rewards Visa Credit Card is a credit option designed specifically for students. With a potentially low APR of 12.49% (to be based on creditworthiness, APR is subject to change) and no annual fee, this card is fares well when compared to other student options on the market today. This card also features a standard rewards program of 1 point for every $1 you spend, plus new cardholders receive 1,000 bonus points after making their first purchase. Therefore, by using this credit card responsibly, you may be able to build your credit score, maintain a low interest rate, and take full advantage of a rewards program. It should be mentioned, that the APR is determined by the card-issuer based on your creditworthiness and may be assigned at a rate as high as 23.49%. If you get assigned such a high interest rate, you will have an extra incentive to keep up with paying your monthly balance, because your interest can accumulate very quickly. All that being said, we can recommend this credit option for students looking to get started with developing a solid credit history. For those who are interested, we have provided a guide below on how to complete the online application process.
