How to Apply for the Choice Privileges Visa Signature Card

Requirements

Ensure that you meet these requirements before proceeding with the application:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a valid US mailing address (no PO boxes)
Have a valid Social Security number

How to Apply

Step 1- General Information

At the start of the application Barclaycard will require of you some basic personal information. The exact information you will need to provide is as follows:

Full name
US address
Duration at current address
Residence status

Step 2- Employment and Financial Information

In order for Barclaycard to evaluate your creditworthiness you must provide some basic financial information (annual income, occupation, bank accounts held) so that they may create a financial profile.

Step 3- Contact Information

At this point you will need to surrender at least one phone number and a valid email address. Barclaycard reserves the right to contact you through these channels to discuss your account and notify you of upcoming promotional offers.

Step 4- Security Information

Enter your valid US Social Security number, mother’s maiden name, and birthdate in the secure fields provided.

Step 5- Paperless Statements

We encourage all cardholders to opt for paperless statements for environmental purposes, however this program is not obligatory. If you consent to the terms, feel free to enrol.

Step 6- Choice Privileges Member Number (Optional)

If you are already a confirmed Choice Privileges member please enter your number here in order to have it printed onto your credit card.

Step 7- Balance Transfers (Optional)

Barclaycard offers a service by which you can, if you so choose, transfer an existing balance from any major credit card onto your new Barclaycard credit card, between $10 and $20,000.
