How to Apply for the Evans Bank Small Business Rewards Credit Card

The Evans Bank Small Business Rewards Credit Card is similar to the Evans Bank Small Business Edition Credit Card, except for the fact that the interest rate is slightly higher and the fact that this option features a rewards program. The APR is assigned based on your credit score at a rate that will range from 12.24% to 22.24% (APR is subject to change). Regardless of what your assigned APR is, you will receive a 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first six billing cycles from the date of account opening. This credit card’s rewards program is standard, earning cardholders one point for every dollar spent on all purchases. Your accumulated points can be redeemed for gifts or travel rewards. Another benefit of this card is that there is no annual fee and no additional cost for employee cards, which makes it an inexpensive credit option for small businesses. In order to be eligible for this credit card, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be of at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid SSN
  • Have a valid TIN
  • Have a valid US mailing address

How to Apply

Step 1 – To get started, find your way to the Evans Bank credit card page and click the Business Credit Cards link to continue.

Step 2 – The pop up window pictured below will appear to notify you that you will need to answer a few qualifying questions. Click Continue.

Step 3 – Next, click either Yes or No to indicate if your business is a non-profit organization.

Step 4 – Indicate Yes or No to indicate if your business has annual revenues in excess of $7 million or has 50 or more employees.

Step 5 – Now, click Apply Now beside Small Business Rewards to access your application form.

Step 6 – To complete your application, you will need to provide a substantial amount of information. Any field on the application that is filled in grey is required information. Begin by supplying the following information into the indicated fields:

  • Legal name of business
  • Company name
  • Business street address (city, state, ZIP code)
  • If street address is the same as the mailing address

Step 7 – Next, you will be asked to enter all of the information listed below into the appropriate spaces.

  • Mailing address (if different from street address)
  • Business phone number
  • Business website
  • Business contact
  • Primary phone number
  • Email address

Step 8 – All of the below details are required information to be entered as indicated.

  • Tax identification number
  • Nature of business
  • Annual business revenue
  • Years in business under current owner
  • Number of employees
  • State of legal formation
  • Business type

Step 9 – Beneath Principal 1, first indicate whether you would like to apply for joint credit. Then, you will need to enter the following personal information:

  • Full name
  • Business title
  • Home street address (city, state, ZIP code)

Step 10 – You will then be asked to provide all of the following additional information:

  • Housing status
  • Monthly housing payment
  • SSN
  • Date of birth
  • Mother’s maiden name

Step 11 – At this juncture, you are asked to provide the below information.

  • Primary phone number
  • Work phone number
  • Alternate phone number
  • Percentage of ownership
  • Gross monthly income

If you are an insider of TCM Bank, you must click the checkbox found in the disclaimer. To add other cardholders to this account with a 20%+ ownership in your business, click Add Another Principal and provide the requisite information. When you have completed this page of the application, click Next to continue.

Step 12 – In this step, you must first enter your requested Total Credit Line Amount into the indicated field. Next, you will need to provide the following information for each principal cardholder:

  • Name on card
  • SSN
  • Credit limit
  • Date of birth

Having finished entering the above information, enter your name in the indicated space and tick the box indicating that you are certified to request credit cards before continuing to the next step.

Step 13 – At this juncture, if you would like to perform balance transfers, click the Add Balance Transfer link and enter the following information for each transfer:

  • Account number
  • Name of creditor
  • Payment address (city, state, ZIP code)
  • Amount of transfer ($500 minimum)

Step 14 – If you have a Bank Contact that you would like to include in your application, provide their information here. Below that, you can add any additional comments regarding your application into the large blank field.

Step 15 – TCM Bank requires that you supply documentation to verify your business. You can either upload your documents here, or continue with your application and supply the required documents at a later date.

Step 16 – If you have an Evan’s Bank Branch Number and CSRID enter them here. Click Next to proceed.

Step 17 – Last but not least, read the terms and conditions for this card to ensure that you agree with them. If you consent to the terms, tick the little checkbox indicating that you agree to the terms. Read the paragraph regarding the necessary technological requirements and tick the box that states that you meet these requirements. Click Submit to submit your application for review.
