Requirements

To be eligible for this card you must fulfill the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a SSN
• Have a US-issued photo ID
• Have a US mailing address

How to Apply

Step 1- To access the application form, you first need to go to the Patelco Credit Union Pure MasterCard page pictured below and click Apply Now.

Step 2- The pop-up window displayed below will appear; indicate whether or not you are already a Patelco member, and click Next. If you are already a member, you will be able to have your application prefilled using your existing account information.

Step 3- Before you can start filling your application, you will need to read and agree to the terms and conditions contained within the Credit Card Disclosure, the Viewed box will be ticked after you’ve opened the document. When you are ready, click Agree With Disclosure.

Step 4- To apply for this card, you will need to be a Patelco Credit Union member or qualify for membership. If you are a member, select Yes (see example) and enter your Member Number. 

If you are not already a member, one of the following must apply to you for you to qualify:

• You live, work or worship in one of the following counties (select one)
• You have immediate family member who is a member of Patelco Credit Union
• You work at one of Pelco’s Sponsor Companies and/or a student of an affiliated school (select one)

Once you have made your selection, click Next to continue.

Next, you will need to provide the following additional information to complete this window:

• Type of Loan
• Co-applicant (tick the box if you are adding a co-applicant)
• Requested credit limit
• Request type (new account or limit increase)

When you are ready, click Next.

Step 5- To help secure and authenticate your account, you will have to provide the following personal information:

• Email address
• First name
• Last name
• Suffix
• Date of birth
• SSN
• Identification type
• State that issued your ID
• ID number
• ID expiration date

Step 6- Next, for communication and credit determining purposes, supply the following information where indicated:

• Address
• City
• State
• Zip code
• Home phone number
• Time at residence
• Housing type
• Monthly payment

Step 7- To be able to determine your creditworthiness, Patelco requires you to enter the following information in the Applicant Employment section of your application:

• Employment status
• Employer
• Occupation
• Time at employer
• Work phone number
• Yearly gross income
• Other income source
• Other income frequency
• Income amount

Step 8- Before you finish your application, review all of the information and correct any mistakes (where applicable). Next, read the disclosure information which contains some important legal information and tick the box if you agree with the statement (see picture below). When you are ready, click Submit.

Your application for the Patelco Credit Union Pure MasterCard is finished! Save your Loan Application Number for future reference and click Close to exit the application. You should receive a response within one business day.
