First thing you’re going to want to do when you receive your Visa in the mail is activate it. It will otherwise serve no purpose. Call the number above to get your card in operating condition. Once activated, you can go ahead and register for online banking. To do so, click on the Secure Registration link located above which will take you to the BancorpSouth homepage. If you’ve successfully navigated to the online banking portal, locate the Login to Online Banking window and click the Enroll link.
You will immediately encounter the online banking services terms and conditions; review this document and click Accept only if you agree with the statements made within.
The secondary page will have you choose your User Type and your information option (needed for identification purposes). Make your selections then provide the following information:
- Customer number
- Social security number
- Phone number
- E-mail address
- Confirm e-mail address
The following steps will have you supplying further information, creating a username and password for your account, and potentially providing other security measures for your account. Once your credit card is activated and enrolled in online banking, you will be able to take full advantage of your new Visa while spending and monitoring your account responsibly.
