So you can proudly pay for your gas with the Captain’s Card and get 2 reward points per dollar spent. “Fill me up Scotty!” You also get 3 points per dollar spent at startrek.com and 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases. The variable APR is fairly reasonable for this card as it ranges between 10.15% and 17.99% (APR is subject to change). There is also no balance transfer fee which makes this a great candidate for debt consolidation, if this is something you’re looking to do. Requirements

To apply for this card you must fulfill all of the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a US citizen
• Have a US SSN
• Have a US mailing address

You must also fulfill one of the following requirements for the NASA FCU membership:

• Be an employee or retiree of NASA Headquarters, any NASA Center or Facility, or NAS
• Be an employee or a member of one of NASA Federal Credit Union’s partner companies
• Be a relative or household member of a current NASA Federal Credit Union member
• Be a member of the National Space Society

How to Apply

Step 1- Before you start your application for the NASA Federal Star Trek Credit Card, go to this page and select which card image you want to have by clicking on of the following 4 options:

• Captain’s card
• Starfleet academy card
• Starfleet command card
• United federation of planets card

When you have selected your card, click Apply to continue to the application form.

Step 2- To have your application successfully completed and submitted you will need to provide an extensive amount of information beginning with the following personal info:

• First name
• Last name
• Date of birth
• SSN
• Citizenship
• Primary phone #
• Email
• Home address
• City
• State
• Zip code
• Monthly mortgage or rent amount
• Housing status
• Length of residence
• Mailing address (if different from home address)
• If there is a joint applicant (Yes/No)

When you have finished filling all of these fields click Continue.

Step 3- On the second page of the application you will need to provide the following employment information where indicated:

• Employment status
• Occupation
• Employer name
• Employer phone #
• Other income (if applicable)
• Other income source (if applicable)

After filling Your Employment Information, indicate whether you would like to subscribe to Credit Protection services by selecting the appropriate response from the pulldown menu. For the next question, if you are not planning on transferring the balance from another account select No, otherwise leave your answer as Yes and provide the following information where indicated:

• Card number
• Card institution
• Transfer amount
• Card institution address
• City
• State
• Zip code

When you have completed filling out this page, click Continue to Confirm.

Step 4- Review all of the information that you have entered to be sure that you haven’t made any mistakes, making corrections by clicking the Edit buttons.

Step 5- Take a look at the Terms and Conditions for the NASA Federal Star Trek Credit Card as well and read through all the other documents provided in blue links on the application as seen in the picture below.

Tick the box indicating that you are submitting this application in your own name and that you agree to the product and membership terms, then click Submit My Application to submit your application.
