Requirements

To be eligible for this card you must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Canadian resident
• Be at least the age of majority (18 or 19 years of age depending on your province)

How to Apply

Step 1- To access the online application for the National Bank ECHO Cashback Mastercard navigate to the page pictured below by clicking here and click the  Apply Now link.

Step 2- If you are already a National Bank client, you can apply for the National Bank ECHO Cashback Mastercard using your existing bank account by clicking Login or signing up to online banking by clicking Sign-Up Now. Click Apply Now if you are not an existing customer and continue scrolling down for a breakdown of the application form.

Step 3- If you clicked Apply Now, you should be redirected to the application form pictured below. Get your application started by entering the following information in the Some basic information field:

• Title
• First name
• Last name
• Email address

Step 4- Read through the terms and conditions found in the Information box. Once you have finished, if you agree to the terms tick the box indicating that you comply and click Continue.

Step 5- To apply for a new account you will need to proved the following personal information:

• Date of birth
• Telephone number
• SSN (optional)
• Mother’s maiden name

Step 6- Next, provide the following required housing information as indicated:

• Street number and name
• City
• Province
• Postal code
• Residency status
• If you have lived at this address more than 2 years

Step 7- Provide the following employment information as required to help the National Bank determine your credit worthiness and limit:

• Employment status
• Gross annual income
• Gross annual household income

Step 8- For each of the questions listed beneath Addition information, select Yes or No to indicate whether you:

• Have a bank account at the National Bank
• Require an additional card
• Require a balance transfer

Step 9- Before you submit your completed application, make sure that all of the information that you have entered on your application is correct. Below you can see that there are two statements, you will need to read both and ticking the boxes beside each to indicate that you have read and comply to them.
